501C3 = Non Profit Charitable organization. Tax deductible/ tax-exempt
Jean Vallery is in the process of getting a 501C3 for the emergency fund.
-NYC is in the process of getting 501C3 status for the Foundation.

DCBMA has this status. No tax exemption.

ONLINE MESSENGERS LIST- messengers@dccourier.com

747 people (distinct email addresses) are signed up on this list.

It was suggested that more/different people should voice opinions on controversial issues to prevent the same people from always responding.

Can local issues be fought by an International Forum?

How can the IFBMA help with other cities BMAıs?

ELECTING A NEW COUNCIL

Every year starting last year (2003). New IFBMA Council members will be elected. Last yearıs members may also stay on board if they wish. This year four people need to be replaced. Someone needs to announce that the IFBMA is looking for a new Council. Anyone want to be in? SEE PAGE TWO!!!!!! These people have expressed interest so far:

Joel Metz from SF
Steve from Zurich
Mason from Seattle
Scooter from Sydney

You have to be at the Current Championships to be elected. Council members are preferably, though not limited to, active messengers.

FUTURE CMWC

Vancouver? Sydney? Amsterdam? Take a year off?

Some discussion on what it means to skip a year.
Some oppose skipping a year (should continue every year as currently).
Cities are encouraged to throw a worldwide event before bidding for the Champs, That way they are more prepared.

FOR MONDAY:

Parameters to be defined for the council acting w/o objectives(Example: ³We are going to do thisŠ..anyone object?² This way it is easier to get issues resolved/ things accomplished.)
