Yo!
We just had a weekend of boozing and racing in COPETOWN. This time COPETOWN was in a concrete "ghetto style" enviroment complete with a bunch of wannabee gangster kids taking over the mike. 16 checpoints , with two 5 floor staircases to empty your lungs, elevators to test your patience and a short and really technical race course to test the skills to the max. No accidents, no rules... exept for r.e.s.p.e.c.t for other riders!
The race concept of CMWC2002 is now perfect. The aim of that race was to make it as realistic and fair for everybody as possible and to avoid arguements and doubts + being able to follow the top 10 in the last 45 miutes of the race. It was so fucking cool! The winner did 18 manifests and 48 runs in two hours. Thanx so much to Fish for getting it down on paper dispite all possible problems and his helpers Hiske and Beaver to be so cool when managing the final!
I cant see any better messengerrace concept on a closed course. Thanx to all outoftowners that showed up with such a short notice.
We now have Danish Messenger Champions which we can send out to represent this summer
Nr 1." Kvante" , De Grønne Bude is now flying to CMWC XII in Edmonton
Nr 1. "Pia the Godddes" , DEADLINE also won a ticket to CMWC XII
Nr 2. "Bornholm", DGB is going to ECMC WARZAW
Nr. 2 "Mette", Budstikken is going to ECMC WARZAW
And Cargo nr 1 "Køster", HI is also hedding for his first time experince in WARZAW.
