From Sea-Tac Airport to Consolidated Works (500 N. Boren):
Getting Around From Sea-Tac International Airport to Consolidated Works (500 Boren N): Via Public Transit: The cheapest, fastest and most reliable way to get from Sea-Tac
to Consolidated Works is on Metro
Transit. This is the bus system in Seattle. While busses are equipped with bike racks, you cannot load or
unload bikes in the underground tunnel or the downtown core.
Leave your bike(s) crated to transport on the bus.
Via Taxi: The most expensive way to get from the airport to our main
facility is via taxicab. Cabs
will not be able to accommodate uncrated bikes and can only transport
two riders with crated bikes. The
cost one-way to downtown will cost @ $30 US. There will be an additional
charge to continue from there. Via Bicycle: While you could build your bike at Sea-Tac and ride into
town, we do not recommend it. First
of all, it would be about an hour ride and secondly, portions of the
route are not bike friendly (especially if you are loaded with a
weekendís worth of stuff). If
you want to ride in, however, hereís how:
From South of Seattle: Follow
directions for biking from Sea-Tac Airport (see above), as airport is
South of main facility. From North of Seattle:
Enter Seattle from the North via WA SR
99 (Aurora) and proceed as follows:
All
directions assume you are traveling via bicycle.
