Getting Around

From Sea-Tac International Airport to Consolidated Works (500 Boren N):

Via Public Transit:

The cheapest, fastest and most reliable way to get from Sea-Tac to Consolidated Works is on Metro Transit.  This is the bus system in Seattle.  While busses are equipped with bike racks, you cannot load or unload bikes in the underground tunnel or the downtown core. Leave your bike(s) crated to transport on the bus.

Depart SEA-TAC AIRPORT & BAY 1 (BAGGAGE TERMINAL) on Route 194 Downtown Seattle.  This route runs approximately every 30 minutes.

Arrive UNIVERSITY STATION, BAY A.  Exit the Transit Tunnel, proceeding to street level at 4th AVENUE & UNIVERSITY ST

Depart on Route 17 (bus will show ëSunset Hillí on information screen).  This route runs approximately every 30 minutes.

Arrive WESTLAKE AVE N & HARRISON ST and walk 0.2 miles NE to 500 Boren Avenue N.

Via Taxi:

The most expensive way to get from the airport to our main facility is via taxicab.  Cabs will not be able to accommodate uncrated bikes and can only transport two riders with crated bikes.  The cost one-way to downtown will cost @ $30 US. There will be an additional charge to continue from there.

Via Bicycle:

While you could build your bike at Sea-Tac and ride into town, we do not recommend it.  First of all, it would be about an hour ride and secondly, portions of the route are not bike friendly (especially if you are loaded with a weekendís worth of stuff).  If you want to ride in, however, hereís how:

From 17801 International Blvd, proceed N on WA-99

After 4.54 mi, continue (N) on Pacific Hwy S

After 0.14 mi, continue (NW) on E Marginal Way S

After 3.14 mi, turn slightly right (N) on 4th Ave S

After 3.99 mi, continue (NW) on 4th Ave

After 0.86 mi, turn right (NE) on Stewart St

After 0.09 mi, turn left (N) on Westlake Ave

After 0.21 mi, turn right (NE) on Lenora St

After 0.20 mi, turn left (W) on Denny Way

After 0.02 mi, turn right (N) on Boren Ave N

Continue N on Boren Ave N for 0.33 mi until you reach 500 Boren Ave N (on right)

Total distance: 13.5 mi

From South of Seattle:  Follow directions for biking from Sea-Tac Airport (see above), as airport is South of main facility.

From North of Seattle: Enter Seattle from the North via WA SR 99 (Aurora) and proceed as follows:

Continue (S) on WA-99 (Aurora Ave N)

After 2.88 mi, continue (S) on Dexter Way N
