 Event Schedule (updated 9/6) 

Here are specific times and locations for scheduled events.  Our main facility is ëConsolidated Worksí at 500 Boren Ave N.  All competitors must check in here as soon as possible upon arrival.  Additional information regarding each event or schedule changes will be available there. Organizers will be on site 7am ñ2am at Consolidated Works throughout the weekend.  If you arenít sure where you should be, check there first!

Consolidated Works, 500 Boren Ave N

This is where you will check in for all events.  Competitors and participants (non-competing guests) will be issued wristbands at registration check-in. These will allow you entry to scheduled activities and events including music, meals, housing (for general housing) and competitions.  Please note that competitors and participants under the age of 21 will have ankle-bands and cannot be served alcohol, per Washington State law.  Have your ID with you!  If you have pre-registered (thank you!), simply check-in, verify your housing information, sign a waiver and get your wristband.  If you are not pre-registered, this is where you will register and pay.

 

Thursday, September 11th 

       REGISTRATION HOURS:  8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  Friday September 12th

                        REGISTRATION HOURS:  8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

       10am-8pm:        Music, Art exhibitions & Messenger Memorial at Consolidated Works  

      1pm-4pm:        Messenger BBQ @ ABC Legal 910 5th Ave. Come one come all!

       4pm-7pm:        Catered Dinner at Consolidated Works, in back of Lobby

       7pm-8pm:        Group Ride, 6:40pm staging @ Denny Playfield (Denny & 9th Ave)

This ride is planned for about 7-8 miles around our fair city. Be ready to climb some hills and remember your Critical Mass Manners! If you must drink your beer, please transfer to your waterbottle. Keep together, Pay attention to your organizers lead, SMILE and please do not ignore police if they ask for cooperation. They want us to have a great, safe time and to arrive safely back at Consolidated Works for the World Welcome Party. 

       8pm-10pm:         Side Events, Consolidated Works, 500 Boren Avenue N

       Bunny-hop outside Consolidated Works, between Mercer and Republican on Boren N

       Backward Circles inside Consolidated Works, Gallery and Lobby

       8pm-2am:        World Welcome Party, Consolidated Works, Inside ONLY

          Polo registration

          Main stage music in theater

          Beer only served to competitors and participants with appropriate credentials (wristbands)

Saturday September 13th

       REGISTRATION HOURS:  7 a.m. to 12 noon (Registration Closes)

       8am-12pm:        Breakfast at Best Western (200 Taylor N)

       7am-10am:        IFBMA meeting, Consolidated Works, Cinema

       9am-12pm:        Track Slide Competition (Off site @ Magnusson Park)

       Maps will be available at registration

       10am-8pm:        Music, Art Exhibition & Memorial at Consolidated Works

       Vending at U Park lot, SW corner of Harrison and Boren

    Open to competitors, participants and public

       No food or beverage vending, except water and company promotion

       Noon-2pm:    Catered Lunch, Consolidated Works, east area of Lobby

          Wristbands get you a good deal on lunch and cool PBRís

          Vegetarian and Vegan Fare provided

          Please stay sober if you are going to qualify

      Noon-8pm:   Qualifying period for main race

       Complete Rules will be given to each competitor at check-in

       Two chances to qualify. Two separate qualifying periods. 4-hour window each.

          No food service

          Water provided

          Helmets and Sobriety required

       8pm-10pm:        Sprints on Boren, meet at Consolidated Works at 7:40 p.m.

       8pm-10pm:        Polo Tournament

       Streetside Consolidated Works, 1st elimination round

          Safety/First Aid on site

          NO ALCOHOL OUTSIDE PLEASE!

       10pm-11pm:        Stand competition inside Consolidated Works, Lobby and Gallery

      10pm-2am:          Music and Party, Consolidated Works, Inside ONLY

          Main stage music in Theater

          Alcohol served to participants and competitors with appropriate credentials (wristbands)

      Midnight-1am:     Alley Cat (Scavenger) Race

       Start/Finish at Consolidated Works

          Seattle Landmarks and Icons

          Mobile Safety/First Aid volunteers participating

Sunday September 14th

       10am-8pm:        Music, Art Exhibitions & Memorial, Consolidated Works

       Vending at U Park lot; no food or beverage vending, except water and company promotions

8am-12pm:        Breakfast at Best Western (200 Taylor N)

         7am-10am:        IFBMA meeting, Consolidated Works, Cinema

         11am-1pm:        Cargo Race, meet at Consolidated Works, at 10:40 a.m.

        Noon-2pm:         Catered Lunch, Consolidated Works

      2pm-6pm:          Final Race

       Main race per approved route map

          No food service

          Water provided

       Start/finish area on Boren

          ChampionChip Booth

          Results/timing posted at start/finish area at 7pm

       7pm-9pm:          Track Slalom competition, meet Boren & John at 6:40 p.m.

       8pm-10pm:        Final Polo Tournament

       Streetside Consolidated Works

          Safety/First Aid on site

          NO ALCOHOL OUTSIDE!

       10pm-11pm:      Free style Competition, Consolidated Works, Gallery and Lobby

       10pm-2am:        Awards and Farewell party, Consolidated Works
