23 Paperboys and girls raced 20 miles or more across London in the paper round last night. The race started at Warner St. EC1 as usual. Checkpoints were:
1. St. Anne's Ct. W1
2. Printer St. EC4
3. The Daily Express, Ludgate House, Blackfriars Rd. SE1 - round the back to the postroom
4. The Sun, Virginia St., E1
5. The Independent, 191 Marsh Wall, E14
6. Telegraph St. EC2
7. Baron's Pl. SE1
8. Financial Times, 1 Southwark Bridge SE1
9. Star Yard WC2
FINISH - The Guardian, 119 Farringdon Road EC1, round the back. Racers had to throw a newspaper aquired en route into a bin bag whilst riding their bike to finish. Most forgot and had to go and get a paper after arriving at the finish. Good scrap for third with Birdman's and Homer's attempts to get a paper in the bag.

Xico won first crash, blew out tyre after 200m and also won best costume.
Seamus tried to avoid a taxi and crashed into a lamppost.

EC1.
