Road to Nowhere, Philadelphia, 08 Jun 02

fThe PBMA would like to thank everyone who came for The Road To Nowhere. We would also like to give a super big THANK YOU to Scott Mullen and Richard Fries from The Ride Magazine and Dave Perry from Bike Works NYC. The Ride helped out with sponsorship and announcing and came through in a very big way for us, and Dave brought down those excellent rollers and ran an exceptional race. Thanks also to Mark Abramson from Hokey Spokes for announcing and helping with the raffle, and Courtney and Erica from Independence for being our official Beer Wenches.

I’d also like to give a super duper THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to Yann from Sweetskinz for lending us his space. Woo Hoo!

The racing was fast and furious. The beer from Independence Brew Pub, Yards and Nordbrau was cold and free flowing. The tunes spun by Mr. Ill were dope. And the Ray Grady’s kicked some serious ass starting their set off with the theme from The A Team.

We had great prizes for everyone (yes everyone who raced walked away with something). I’d like to thank our Sponsors The Ride Magazine, Mavic, Briko, R.E.Load, Frankenstien Bike Worx, Via Bicycles, Drive Sports, Vespid Couriers, Speedplay, Face of America, Independent Fabrications, Selle San Marco, and Sweetskins.
