nora and katrinbrokenarm organized the alleycat. it involved baking a gingerbread man (a grittibänz) and constructing a santa-hat, in which all more or less succeeded. besides those very time-eating tasks, we just had to ride really fast, for 40 people constitute big competition and (almost) everybody wanted to win this prestigious. mr. handsome timtom from flash ended up as the winner, karin from veloblitz won the female's challenge. mr. olivier aka. Kevin Spägg was first out-of towner and mr. mongo nico would have deserved to win the mongo prize for the mongo action, but alas, that wasn't on the list.
after the race we all stranded at the ego, where, under the musical direction of mr. lukbrokenheart, miss dina and other djs, we all danced our legs wobbly until early morning. Full house, the bar was busy all the time with thirsty people lingering around for another drop of alcohol or some other mexican water.
we didn't set an entry fee, everyone just gave his personal contribution to help steve. we are very proud to have actually succeeded in collecting 3000 swiss francs for helping Steve and we hope that this might also be a motivation for others to set up a similar event. Thank you for having been there!
finally i'd like to thank all the people who helped on friday 7th, especially Lukfutz, Dina, Michelle, Flo, Luzian, Thomi, Andy, Katrin, Nora, Rolli, all the people from the checkpoints, total bar, ego, Markus, Michi, Anja, Karin and those which I forgot (not intentionally).
