Indian Summer in full effect, only six (count em'), six racers showed up at noon on Saturday September 30th for the WBMA #13 Alleycat. Having to work your other job is a good excuse, but being hung over or not having a fast enough bike is not. But I digress. Having raced in two Alleycat's since moving to Winnipeg this summer I was getting a little bored of the point to point races following a set route. So I mixed it up a little with some obscure locations and a few parkades just for fun. At one stop find out you had to go to the Library and the first two people there get a 2min bonus. Pick up Bonus items for time off your score. Only one person got the flyer for shoppers optical from the guy at Portage and Edmonton. That guy is there allday everyday handing out those god damn things. I have at least five in the bottom of my bag by the end of each week.
