there were messengers from zurich, freiburg (germany!!!) and of course from basel itself. it was a nice warm spring night and valerie the organizer was offering pasta and salad for everybody at her place after the race. thanks again to her. it was really cool to have an alley-cat with people from three cities. it doesn't happen to often in switzerland. karl stransky (sprint-winner cmwc99) won but he was part of the organization and kind of knew the course, so he didn't really wanna be the offical alley-cat winner. so actually chantal (3rd in dc and zurich) came in first.wow!!! it doesn't happen enough that we are celebrating a female winner. I think that's pretty cool. matthias came in second. I don't know who come in third but nicolas, phillip and me came in together as best out of towners.
