OH MY GOD!
wow. i had no idea it was going to be SO much fun to put together a race. i'm going to have to do this again. everybody had a great time. i wound up throwing down about a hundred bucks on it, but that's fine, next time i'll organize a lot better so that i can actually break even on it. i'll send you a patch--they came out really nice. i did the design up with some watercolors, it's really simple. just black lettering, a black dagger with red blood on it. the first place winner was a total surprise--a 19-year old rookie from elliott bay messenger. we wound up having enough prizes to give to EVERYBODY! it kicked ASS. des (vancouver) came in fifth overall, so we had at least someone who was able to show that the chase-race format works well for out of town riders...
