registration and pre-race beer at the northbridge hotel, brisbrane st. the usual suspects in evidence, along with assorted hangers-on, hookers and perth's elite wheelie squad, who thought they'd turn up to watch the start before they went home to mummy and their tea. (perhaps if you'd maintained a slightly lower profile, the cops wouldn't have been waiting at the start, or breathing down our necks during the event)
about 20 of perth's finest entered, blissfully unaware of the torture ahead of them.

7th c/p - 69 mount street (situated at the top of this short, but steep climb, was a warm vodka and lemonade for each rider)
8th c/p - mercedes college - pick up road safety white ribbon - wear it with pride,
9th c/p - murray mews
10th c/p - chua chanh giac buddist temple, 45 money street, northbridge
finish - raine square
by the time everyone had finished, the marital status of my parents was severely questioned, possibly giving rise to the notion that it had been a slightly difficult course
post race hydration and prize giving at the garage, followed by inebriation at the hyde park hotel, messenger friendly(ish) and open later than 10pm on a friday nite
