The most recent race in the Tour Da Chicago alley cat series (stage 4) took place on the 18th of October. It was a very straight-forward ride involving 4 of Chicago's major through-fares. The course was only nine miles and this being a hearty crowd, the option was offered of doing two laps to add to your point tally (for a small extra fee). Most participants did the bonus lap. We were given a taste of winter with strong head winds from three of the four cardnal directions, though it was actually a warm morning, it got really cold by nine as we all headed home to go back to bed.
