Marcus, the owner of chicago's grass roots messenger bike shop, Yojimbo's Garage is putting on a series of alley cat races called "Tour Da Chicago." Stage one, to midway airport from the loop and over to Hyde Park was two Sundays ago (while we were all in DC) and the results are posted below. Future races are being held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month through Feb. 1999. Points will be accumilated and the winner overall will get a Fuji Team frameset (road or track) with winners of each race getting cash prizes. Each race will start at Buckingham fountan at 5:20am and leave from there.
