CMWC'97 has an insurance and it covers medical, accident assistance, death, permanent dissablement and civil responsability, others circunstances will be under your own risk and you'll sign a paper comfirming that.
RACES:
-messenger race, cargo race, sprints, trials and bunny hop. please note: To take part in the event means to accept the rules, no chance to discus.
Helmet is obligatory only in the finals.
The race jury will take decissions to the eventual problems.
MESSENGER RACE, CARGO RACE.
It will be only one qualifying head on Saturday, the final will be on Sunday morning. The race track is about 2.000 meters and 5 checkpoints but you'll have to cover a longer distance and stamp in a same checkpoint more than one time.
In the race track you'll find obstacles. The qualifying heat will start at 10 a.m. and will finish at 9 p.m. with a break of two hours during the afternoon. The competitors will have a manifest at the beggining of the heat and will have to cover the race
track following the order of this manifest, respecting the one way direction of the race track (see the next map). To ride in wrong direction means disqualification. Before start the race, you'll have a manifest and it will be stamped with the time you're starting
and at the end of your job will be stamped again with the time you're finishing (you'll complete the route in about 30-45 minutes).
Your manifest will have to be completed with this times and all the stamps of the chekpoints, if not you'll be out. You only receive a stamp if the order on the manifest is rigth. When you'll be racing, the packages has to be inside your bag, and only can be
your hands and the checkpoints. If you lost or damage the package you'll be out. At the checkpoints the racers will be served in order of arrival, please don't hit or push your mates to be served first, OK?
In one of the checkpoints your bike has to be locked, if not you know...(use the lock you prefer, but be sure it¥s a good lock, we have good thieves, we repeat; good thieves).
The final will have the same race track with only a few modifications, and longer time (about 1 hour and a half).
SPRINTS.
Eliminations heads on Saturday. 10 competitors per head. Distance: about 300 meters. Finals on Sunday morning.
BUNNY HOP.
Elimination heads on Saturday. We will start at 20 cm, 30 cm and from 35 to 50 cm in steps of 5 cm. For all the heights. You'll have two tries. After 50 cm the eight rises in 2 cm steps afterwards and you'll still three tries. Final on Sunday morning.
TRIALS.
Only one head on Saturday evening before the concert starts.
BEST TEAM PRIZES.
The meaning of the prizes is to reward that the team with more regularity
and joined during all the events of the champs. We did the rules trying
to be the most fair possible. Looking for the equality beetwen the heads
and their importance, the number of the competitors, and the numeric
differences beetwen men and women.
The prizes will be won by the team with more points accumulated.
Each member of each team contributes with his/her points earned during the differents finals.
Teams: minimun and maximum 16 competitors.
The teams have be registered before the champs starts to take part in this prize.
The teams will can formed by the members of the same company, affinity, city, country or whatever you want.
Is not allowed to change the team during the champs. Value of the points in the different heats in this importance order.

By car, from French border:
Highway A-7 and arriving to Barcelona, connect with A-19, take exit "Bac de Roda", meeting point #1 is 500 meters far from this exit.
Highway A-7 and arriving to Barcelona, connect with B-10 Litoral, take exit #23, meeting point is 50 meters far from this exit.N-II arriving to Barcelona, connections with A-7, A-19 and B-10.
On Bike: From the north, take N-II, be careful with connections to highways. Don't take them.
By Train: Arrivals to Sants and França stations.
By Plane: Arrivals to Barcelona-El Prat- Airport, stopping trains to Sants station.
